Sarah Wisseman’s career in archaeology explains both her multi-layered view of the world and her practice of art. She grew up on the East Coast and developed a preference for landscapes dominated by water and sky, often executed in mixed media. She has taken multiple art classes at Parkland College in Champaign, IL, and Arromont School of Arts and Crafts in Tennessee and shown her work at a variety of juried and unjuried shows.
